Privacy Policy

FYPTT runs without accounts, trackers or stored videos

This policy lists the small amount of personal data the site touches, why we need it and when we delete it. It applies to every visitor, wherever you live.

  • Last updated October 17, 2026
  • UK and EU GDPR
  • US state privacy laws

In short, we collect almost nothing

The numbered sections below say the same thing in full legal detail.

  • No account. You never give us a name, password or profile.
  • Links aren’t kept. The TikTok link you paste fetches that one file and isn’t saved afterward.
  • No analytics or ad cookies. No Google Analytics, no ad networks, no tracking pixels.
  • Nothing is sold. We don’t sell or share personal data for advertising.
  • Emails don’t pile up. Messages you send are deleted within 24 months of our last reply.
01

FYPTT decides how this data is used

FYPTT runs fyptt.co.uk. Under UK and EU data protection law, that makes us the data controller for the personal data described on this page.

Contact us about anything here at fyptt.co.uk@gmail.com with the subject line Privacy request.

02

We handle four kinds of data, each for one reason

There’s no sign-up form on FYPTT, so most visits involve nothing beyond the technical data every website receives.

DataWhenWhyKept for
The TikTok link you pasteWhen you use the toolTo find and prepare the file you asked forNot stored after your download
IP address, browser, device and visit timeEvery visit, in server logsTo keep the site secure, stop abuse and fix errorsUp to 30 days
Your email address and messageWhen you write to usTo reply and sort out your requestUp to 24 months after our last reply
Copyright notices and counter-noticesWhen you send oneTo act on the claim and keep a legal recordUp to 3 years

We don’t ask for sensitive data such as health details or ID documents. Please keep it out of any email you send us.

03

Every use rests on a lawful basis

UK GDPR and EU GDPR require a legal reason for each use of personal data. Ours are:

  • Providing the service you asked for. Processing the link you paste so the tool can fetch your file.
  • Legitimate interests. Keeping server logs to protect the site, and replying to emails. Our interest is a safe, working site and answering people who write to us. You can object to this at any time.
  • Legal obligation. Keeping records of copyright notices and counter-notices.

We don’t rely on consent for anything today, because the site sets no optional cookies. If that changes, we’ll ask first.

04

The site sets no analytics or advertising cookies

Browsing FYPTT doesn’t put tracking cookies on your device. WordPress, the software behind the site, uses strictly necessary cookies only when an administrator logs in, so regular visitors don’t receive them.

If we add analytics or ads later, this page changes first. Visitors in the UK and EU will be asked for consent before any non-essential cookie is set, as the UK’s PECR rules and the EU ePrivacy rules require.

05

Three outside services see some data, and none of them buy it

  • Our web host runs the server and stores its logs on our behalf.
  • Google runs our Gmail inbox, so it processes the emails you send us. Google also serves the fonts on our pages, which means your browser shares your IP address with Google when a page loads.
  • TikTok receives the request for the public video you asked to save. TikTok’s own privacy policy covers what happens there.

We’ll also share data when the law requires it, for example under a valid court order. We don’t sell personal data, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as California law defines those terms.

06

Some data leaves the UK and EU, with legal safeguards

Google and our host may store data in the United States and other countries, and the people who run FYPTT may access it from outside the UK and EU.

When data moves out of the UK or EU, the transfer relies on safeguards the law recognizes, such as standard contractual clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

07

You can see, correct or delete your data from any country

UK and EU visitors

  • See a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct anything that’s wrong
  • Have your data deleted
  • Limit or object to how we use it
  • Receive your data in a portable format
  • Complain to a regulator: the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK (0303 123 1113), or the data protection authority in your EU country

US visitors

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with privacy laws can ask to know what we hold, correct it or delete it. We don’t sell or share personal data, so there’s nothing to opt out of. Using any of these rights never changes how the site works for you.

Everyone else

The same rights apply to you. We don’t make visitors prove which law covers them.

To use a right, email fyptt.co.uk@gmail.com with the subject Privacy request. We reply within one month and may ask a question to confirm the request is yours. Without accounts, the only personal data we usually hold about anyone is an email thread, if they’ve written to us before.

08

FYPTT is not meant for children under 13

The site isn’t aimed at children under 13, and TikTok sets 13 as its minimum age in most countries. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you think a child has emailed us, tell us and we’ll delete the message.

09

Pages load over HTTPS and access is kept tight

Every page on fyptt.co.uk loads over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Only the people who run FYPTT can open the inbox and the server logs. No website can promise perfect security, so if you spot a weakness, please email us.

10

Changes show up here with a new date

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. A change that affects how we use your data, such as adding analytics, will be flagged on this page before it takes effect.
