We built FYPTT so saving a TikTok video takes one paste

That is the whole product. Everything else on the site exists to help that one step work.
Most people arrive with a small, specific problem. They want a TikTok video on their own device: their own upload before they delete it, a clip they have permission to use in a presentation, or only the sound from something they recorded.
TikTok’s own Save video option disappears when a creator turns downloads off. FYPTT works from any browser and gives you two files to choose from:
- MP4 for the full video in the best quality available.
- MP3 for the sound on its own, from the MP3 downloader.
It runs on Android, iPhone, Windows, Mac and Linux. The MP4 downloader page shows the steps for each.
What FYPTT does, and what it won’t do
The second column matters as much as the first. It keeps the tool fair to the people who make the videos.

Three rules decide how the tool behaves
Public stays public
If a creator set a video to private or friends-only, FYPTT can’t reach it and doesn’t try. That line protects the people in the videos as much as the people who post them.
Creators own their work
Saving your own clip is fine. Re-uploading someone else’s video as yours is not, and our Terms of Service say so. When an owner asks us to block a link, we block it.
Your data stays thin
No account means no profile to keep. The link you paste is used for that one download, and the site runs no analytics or ad trackers. The Privacy Policy lists the rest.
FYPTT is built for creators and people with permission
If you made the video, or its owner said you can use it, you’re in the right place.
- Creators backing up their own uploads before they delete a draft, archive an account or switch phones.
- Social media managers keeping copies of a client’s posts for reports and approvals.
- People who want the audio from a clip they recorded, as an MP3 for an edit or a voice note.
- Teachers and researchers saving a public clip to show or quote, where the law in their country allows it.
FYPTT is independent and has no tie to TikTok
We aren’t owned, run or endorsed by TikTok, Douyin or ByteDance.
The TikTok name appears on this site only to say which links the tool works with. TikTok is a trademark of its owner.
Being independent has a cost. When TikTok changes how its pages work, the tool can stop working for a while until we fix it on our side. If you hit an error the MP4 downloader page doesn’t cover, tell us.
