Copyright owners can get a link blocked on FYPTT with one email

FYPTT doesn’t host TikTok videos. If our tool can fetch your work and you don’t want it to, send a notice to fyptt.co.uk@gmail.com and we’ll block that link.

  • Last updated October 17, 2026
  • US DMCA notices
  • UK and EU takedown requests

In short, we store no videos but we do block links

Blocking a link stops our tool. Removing a video from TikTok is a separate report.

  • No hosting. FYPTT doesn’t host, store or index TikTok videos.
  • On request only. The tool fetches a public file only when a visitor pastes its link.
  • Blocked on notice. A complete notice gets the link blocked in our tool.
  • Full removal happens on TikTok. To take a video down everywhere, report it to TikTok as well.
01

FYPTT does not store the videos people save

When a visitor pastes a link, the tool fetches that one public video or sound and passes it to the visitor’s browser. We don’t keep a copy, build a library of videos or offer a search of TikTok content. The original file stays on TikTok.

So blocking a link in our tool stops FYPTT from saving it, but the video itself stays up on TikTok. To get it taken down there, use TikTok’s copyright report form.

A valid notice needs six details

Email your notice to fyptt.co.uk@gmail.com with the subject line DMCA notice. US law, at 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), lists these six items, and we ask rights holders in every country for the same ones.

  1. Your signatureA physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act for them. Your typed full name works as an electronic signature.
  2. The work you ownA description of the copyrighted work, or a representative list if there are several.
  3. The exact linkThe TikTok URL or URLs you want blocked, so we can find them without guessing.
  4. How to reach youYour name, postal address, phone number and email address.
  5. A good-faith statementA statement that you believe in good faith the use isn’t authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
  6. An accuracy statementA statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
03

We check every notice, block the link and tell you

  • We check that all six details are there. If something’s missing, we write back and say what.
  • We block the link in our tool and remove it from any page on our site that mentions it.
  • We email you to confirm what we did.

We aim to finish within two working days of receiving a complete notice.

04

If a link was blocked by mistake, send a counter-notice

Anyone affected by a block can ask us to lift it. Email us with the subject Counter-notice and include:

  • your physical or electronic signature
  • the link that was blocked
  • a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith the link was blocked by mistake or misidentification
  • your name, address and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you live outside the US, any judicial district where FYPTT may be found), and that you’ll accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice

We forward your counter-notice to the person who filed the original notice. We may unblock the link 10 to 14 business days after we receive it, unless that person tells us first that they’ve filed a court action.

05

False claims can cost you damages and legal fees

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was blocked by mistake, can be held liable for damages, including costs and legal fees.

A US appeals court has also ruled that rights holders must consider fair use before sending a takedown notice. If you’re unsure whether a use is fair, speak to a lawyer before you file.

06

FYPTT is not part of TikTok

FYPTT is an independent website. It isn’t owned, run, sponsored or endorsed by TikTok, Douyin or ByteDance.

TikTok and Douyin are trademarks of their owners. We use those names only to say which links the tool works with.

07

Our guides are general help, not legal advice

We check the guides and tips on FYPTT before they go live, but apps change and mistakes slip through. Nothing on this site is legal advice.

Decide for yourself whether you have the right to save and reuse a video, and use the site at your own risk. We aren’t responsible for the content of other websites we link to.
